The Bisbee Radio Project
On the air since 2004, KBRP is a low-power, community radio station dedicated to bringing culturally enriching programming to the Bisbee area. KBRP LP 96.1 began broadcasting on Nov. 21st 2004. It took many people many years of perseverance to achieve an FCC licensed radio station in the mountainous and rural terrain of the Mule Mountains.
KBRP is a Community-run radio station. Participant members contribute their time, energy and resources to keep Bisbee's Radio for the People on the air. Locally produced and hosted programs now comprise about 40 hours per week of the broadcast schedule and this is increasing every month. KBRP broadcasts 24 hours a day at 1 watt from 96.1 FM in Bisbee, AZ
