On air since 1973, KAOS is licensed to The Evergreen State College, Washington's innovative four-year college. The broadcast coverage includes Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater, Thurston County, Shelton, Mason County, portions of Lewis, Pierce and Kitsap Counties, reaching as far as the San Juan Islands and Victoria, B.C.
KAOS programming includes eclectic music, women's issues, Native American, Spanish language, comedy, local, national and international public affairs, call-in discussion and more.
KAOS broadcasts 18-22 hours a day, 365 days a year with 1,100 watts of power and is located at 89.3FM on the radio dial.
