Akaku is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that was founded by the
citizens of Maui County and the State of Hawaii Department of Commerce
and Consumer Affairs in 1998 to provide access television services and
training in media to residents from the islands of Maui, Moloka'i,
Lana'i as well as airing programs about our sister island of Kaho'olawe.
AKAKU provides content created by the community, for the community.
