WCRX-LP

WCRX-LP is a low power FM station serving Bexley, Clintonville, Gahanna, New Albany, Westerville Whitehall, Worthington, and large areas of Columbus, Ohio.  It is the only radio service in Central Ohio dedicated to local culture, civic events and other community events.

WCRX-LP was founded in 2000. The air time is shared between four other nonprofit organizations and schools, including Pacifica affiliate Bexley Public Radio. Neighborhood Networks, a non-profit educational organization devoted to community media in Columbus is also affiliated with Pacifica, and is collaborating with the WCRX licensees to provide programming and training and to help build the station in to a dynamic community resource.
