The Ku satellite distributes approximately 18 programs throughout the week. Some of these can also be found for download in AudioPort, while others may be available at the producer's website. To see the program schedule,

Two channels (left and right) are used to distribute content.
Left Channel distributes regular programs.
Right channel distributes specials and live coverage of political events of importance, concerts, and cultural events.
All content distributed via satellite is streamed via AudioPort for stations without satellite equipment.
Most content distributed via satellite is also available in AudioPort as .mp3 sound file all of them will be automatically archived in the near future.

Pacifica National Coverage Specials
Pacifica provides on-the-ground grassroots live coverage of national and international events of importance, such as elections, wars, coups, congressional hearings, mass demonstrations, and global gatherings, anchored by Pacifica hosts and invited guests of distinction. Pacifica affiliates team up with Pacifica to provide reporting and actualities.
For example, in the past few years Pacifica: was in Haiti during the recent Coup including a one hour special the night of Aristide's kidnapping; provided special programming days before and after the recent Invasion on Iraq including a national live call in hour after the 'official' war began; special on the ground coverage has been available for every major anti-war event in the US; special coverage including additional news headlines are available for most major international trade events and the demonstrations against them like at the WTO.
