Produced by Tom Klammer, KKFI, Kansas City, MO In March of 2005, Linda Losey set off on horseback from San Diego California, headed for Baltimore, MD.
The expedition was a memorial ride for her youngest son, 10 year old Sam, who died on June 22, 2004, in a tragic family accident. It was in Sam's memory that Linda sets out on the trail to raise money for the Sam Losey Memorial Scholarship Fund, Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation, Inc. (ERRI). Music: Afro-Cuban Lullaby, traditional, performed by TomKlammer Sprouts is a weekly newsmagazine produced collaboratively between Pacifica Radio, and independent producers at community radio stationsacross the country.
