Bethel College Radio
KBCU-FM is a non-commercial educational
FM radio station, broadcasting from the campus of Bethel College in North Newton,
KS, about 30 miles north of Wichita. Bethel College is a private, 4-year, liberal
arts college affiliated with Mennonite Church USA. Mennonites have long held
an active interest in issues of global peace, justice and conflict resolution.
KBCU has been on the FM airwaves in North Newton since 1989, and is staffed
and operated by Bethel College students and faculty. KBCU also streams live
over the Internet. KBCU offers a wide variety of locally produced and national
programming. KBCU is proud to be the first Pacifica aflliate in Kansas!
