The Pacifica satellite audio feed is currently being operated in "dual-mono" mode:
The "left" channel is used for regularly scheduled daily feeds.
The "right" channel is currently used for special programs and special live Pacifica coverage, re-feeds of missed programs, and also other backhaul feeds such as unmixed speeches and interviews from Pacifica National Programming to the main Pacifica stations (KPFA, KPFK, KPFT, WPFW, WBAI), as well as the Pacifica affiliates, when requested.

The left and right channels of the KU satellite are also being streamed live at AudioPort. Streams found at this location are dedicated to Pacifica clients and reliable. The streams are broadcast quality. |
