to the voiceless, we cover large events from the perspective of real people
who are most affected but may get less representation in other media.

live fund-raising events, assistance with on-air pitching, and custom-made promotional

increases listenership, and helps greatly to bring in financial support from
listeners. Some cite Pacifica programming as their primary fund-raising resource.
7. Flexible Reception Options
Content is distributed by our KU
satellite or via Internet with the Pacifica
AudioPort, which offers broadcast-quality sound files and streaming.

and collaborate to improve programming, share sound files of breaking stories,
create new programs, train their producers, and create new professional communities
based on similar interests and geography. Novice producers easily meet
highly-regarded veterans of the profession at radio stations throughout the
network. Collaboration is facilitated by the Pacifica AudioPort, liaison services
provided by the Pacifrica Affiliates Coordinator, regular conference calls for
affiliates, working list serves, sister station projects, and Sprouts,
